Information:

Pauline started her studies in Normandy, France, and then obtained a Bachelor of Marine Biology from the James Cook University, Townsville, Australia where she specialised in tropical marine organisms. After finishing her studies, she travelled to French Polynesia and started doing an internship at the Centre of Insular Research and Environment Observatory in Moorea. She then worked in the Centre for five years, during which she was involved in research projects, monitoring programmes and consultancies on marine environmental issues.

Pauline had then the opportunity to return to Wallis and Futuna, where she had lived a few years in the past, to work as Project Coordinator. Her work involved habitat and resource assessment studies as well as public outreach.

Pauline joined FAME's Coastal Fisheries Science and Management Section in August 2016, as Costal Fisheries Science Officer.
