Information: Seya Brighton is the Project Assistant for the Nearshore Fisheries Section. She is mainly responsible for logistics, which involves coordinating meetings and workshops, planning participant and staff travel and taking care of travel documents, visa requirements, accommodation bookings, etc. She’s also in charge of the section’s procurement and related financial and administrative tasks.

Born in New Caledonia, Seya obtained a Baccalaureat in Accountancy in 2006, followed by a Bachelor of Commerce at EGC (Ecole de Gestion et de Commerce). She then achieved a Masters in Business, Major Event Management at Griffith University in Australia. During her internships, she worked in a range of sectors, such as Real Estate, Food Processing and the Automotive Industry.

She worked for a national bank until 2013, when she began her present position at the SPC.
